The Vatukoula Gold Mine is located in the northern part of Fiji's main island, approximately ten kilometres inland. The mine is situated at the base of the hills that make up the Tavua volcanic crater. A producing gold mine which currently has 4.1 million ounces of Mineral Resources and 750,000 ounces of Mineral Reserves.
The mine is currently both an open pit and underground operation, however in the medium term it will become predominantly an underground mine.
